I'm becoming more and more of an internet presence everyday.

So just now I linked up my Flickr account and this blog with my Facebook page. I didn't know that was possible, but after uploading some pics from my computer I thought to myself, 'self, there has to be a better way', and so I found it. The crazy part is that it may take everything that I put on Flickr to my Facebook page, which wouldn't be good for when I'm taking pics of yarn or half f*cked up projects. I'm going to test it out as soon as I can and see if it works for me.

I just Googled myself, 'Yes, I Googled', and discovered that there are 10 links in the first few pages for me! A couple are Facebook, then there is Plaxo, this blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, Classmates and Spoke. I can't wait until I start my little online business... then I'll really feel like all this time on the computer will be for something. Although, I'm not too hopeful about it because I have a few things posted on Craigslist, Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace and nothing has moved. Fingers crossed. I'd hate to have to put it up on eBay... I hate paying their fees. I had at one point a lot of brand new, never been touched makeup that I posted on eBay - well of the stuff I sold off I lost money! Between eBay fees, PayPal fees and shipping... ugh, forget it. Maybe I'll go old skool and just have a yard sale.

Nonsense about Nonsense

So, I haven't posted much lately and for that I'm sorry. I have to blame some of that on not sleeping much the past couple of weeks, but I have good news! Last night I was exhausted and actually got almost 7 hours of sleep! So I'm feeling pretty good today and now am prepared to serve up some nonsensical nonsense.

Here's the thing... it's summer. This is probably the one season that I can't seem to formulate an opinion about.
~ For one, it's damn hot. I'm not sure if I like that all too much, but I rather have the heat than the freezin' cold. Now that they have the air on at my office I'm constantly chilled and have a light jacket on as we speak. Yesterday it was so cold that I had to step outside and sit in direct sunlight for 5 mins before I felt well enough to go back into the meat locker.
~ I feel that some ladies take it a bit to far when the mercury rises. I shouldn't be able to see the side curve of your boob or the crease under your buttcheek. I don't care if you have a gorgeous body, in fact it pisses me off that you dress like that and with all that skin exposed you better watch out or I'll give you a indian rub burn.
~ I unfortunately don't have this type of body, so I end up wearing jeans all summer. I'm not comfortable in shorts or God forbid, a bathing suit. Ugh! ~ I also hate the electric bills this time of year. The man will have the A/C cranked up 24/7 and then we get a $400+ bill. Who's not surprised?
~ The nice thing is how late the sun goes down and it is still light outside until pretty late too. I'm barbequing at 9pm and I can still see where my beer is... sweet. The sunsets are just fab. Nothing like pink and purple sky!
~ I also love how much more fruit is available during the summer months. I love my watermelon!
~ I thoroughly enjoy the summer events. Yard sales, street fairs, outdoor concerts and fireworks.
~ And then there is getting together with family and friends... that is what I love the most.
