What's Happening this Summer in NYC

As promised, here is my list of awesome FREE stuff going on in NYC this summer. Now this list is just the stuff that I would like to see, but I'm sure if you go to some of the sites I've linked and sniff around that you'll find some more fantastic events that will make your summer more enjoyable. Summer 2009

Big City Fishing@ Hudson River Park* // All Summer Long! // Free

This takes place on Weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day - Tuesday through Sunday in July and August 10:00 am – 4:30 pm

Kayaking on the Hudson @ Riverside Park South* // Sat & Sun, Thru October 11th, 10am-5pm // Free

Join the Downtown Boathouse for 20-minute instructional paddles and explore the Hudson River firsthand. Please wear a bathing suit or shorts and a t-shirt, and know how to swim. Weather permitting. Kayaking will be available Saturdays & Sundays, May 16 – October 11. No registration required. THIS IS A FREE ACTIVITY.
